@David

That Symphony website is very nice, if you get the right images that's pretty much half your battle won. Although the footer is hideous, I wonder what they were thinking about when they signed that off.

@Marty

I wish, at least that way I'd get more visitors ;)

I think next time I make a site, I will go for something a bit more like this. Another nice simplistic site I saw recently was: http://symphony-cms.com/

I found your site via the comments here:

@Ryan

Good to hear from you again, if you're really interested in the HTML5 stuff drop me an email, although I don't have alot of knowledge in it as I'm only learning the spec, I should be able to give you a few pointers to help get you off in the right direction.

If you want I'll also send you an email when I've put up the next post for you to have a read at.

@David

Thank you, I know it's not going to be featured on any gallery sites but I like the minimalist look, it's something I've always tried to achieve on my own site.

Several sections of the site are still not up and running, most notiably the comment preview section below, and there are a few css problems to fix but I hope to have these all ticked off my list in the next few of days.

Just flicking through your own site, there are a couple of very interesting blog posts which have been bookmarked for later. On a side note, can I ask how you came across this site?

I like this design. It's obviously not a creative masterpieice. However, I have always thought that the ability to create great sites with fewer design elements is a difficult one to master. I like your content form in particular.
