WordPress Plugins
This week I was thinking about the plugins which make the running of this site a lot easier for myself, and after seeing Douglas Bowman’ post on exactly the same subject, I decided that I would draft up a quick blog post acknowledging some of them and hopefully spread word of them further.
- Akismet by Matt Mullenweg
Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. - All in one SEO by Michael Torbert
Out-of-the-box SEO for your WordPress blog. - cForms by Oliver Seidel
Unparalleled flexibility in deploying contact forms across your blog. - Live Comment Preview by Brad Touesnard
Supply users with a live comment preview. - Chunk URLs for WordPress by whoo
shorten urls in comments so that they won’t break your site
I use a few more plugins throughout my site but these are the ones that get used most often. Feel free to list any interesting plugins that you have found to be useful in the creation of your site(s).
